THAT Mother: Yes, I'm THAT mother. I'm the mother who dropped her kid off at school with unbrushed hair. I'm the mother that forgot to sign the permission slip. I'm the mother who didn't send lunch money, for the third day in a row. I didn't used to be THAT mother, but I sure am now. I have learned not to judge, lest ye be judged. And if that's the case I truly fear judgement. So if you are looking for a blog from the perfect mother...keep looking. Because I fully admit to being THAT mother. I have been happily married for 15 years. Yes, happily. Neither my husband nor I are perfect, we each have flaws...big ones, but we love and support each other. He does his best to keep me sane. It's a hard job some days. I have two great kids, a boy (14) and a girl (11). I won the lottery with that one. We got one of each. Pre-teen and teen years are trying, and a learning process for the whole family. Hope you enjoy the musings from a mom that many refer to as THAT mother.
